Facebook photo Conewango Township Officer Scott Neiswonger has announced a new Facebook page for K9 Nic, who was sworn in at the November meeting of the Conewango Township supervisors. “A lot of people have been asking me about this,” said Neiswonger on his personal Facebook page. “Please like and share this page as all of his updates and photographs will be posted on that page. Bridge results

The club championship game of the Warren Bridge Club was held at the Warren YMCA on Monday. Results were as follows:

1st-Karen Cassin and Richard Woodruff with 42.5;

2nd-Connie Michell and Joann Hultquist with 40.5;

3rd-Carol Stone and Donna Holding with 36.

Church concert

The Gloryway Quartet will perform at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Russell United Methodist Church. A love offering will be accepted.

Office closings Wednesday

All Allegheny National Forest offices (Supervisor’s Office, Bradford Ranger Station, and Marienville Ranger Station) will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 5, in observation of the National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush. The offices will resume their normal schedule and open at 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6.

Christmas Eve services

Youngsville Free Methodist Church will have two Christmas Eve services on December 24; one at 8 p.m. and one at 11 p.m.

The church is also having a Blue Christmas Service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec 19.

Advent services

The second in the series of noon Advent Services sponsored by the Warren Area Ministerial Association will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, at the First United Methodist Church, Warren. Rev. Jonathan Keefer will bring the message, and Rev. Buddy Ward will be liturgist. Michele Sandberg will be organist and the First UM Madrigals will provide special music. First UM Church will serve the luncheon. All are welcome.
