4-H Teen Council

The Warren County 4-H Teen Council invites youth between the ages of 12-18 to become members. The council provides older youth the opportunity to build leadership skills and put them into practice. The club is a bridge that connects 4-H members throughout the county with the Penn State Extension office and the community at large. The activities of the Teen Council focus on community service projects and developing programs for the younger 4-H audience.

The first meeting for the Teen Council will be Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. The council meets at the Warren County Conservation District office located 4000 Conewango Ave in Warren. Youth do not need to be a member of a pre-existing 4-H club to join the council.

If you would like more information about the Warren County 4-H Teen Council or the 4-H program in general, contact Jennifer Grooms at (814) 563-9388.

Administered in Pennsylvania by Penn State Extension, 4-H is a non-formal educational youth development program of the United States Department of Agriculture that helps young people develop knowledge and skills to become capable, caring and contributing citizens.
