Very special day as Snyder turns 100
There will be a very special birthday party for Jerry Snyder on Sunday.

Jerry was born in Dubois on Sept. 23, 1918 — 100 years ago.
In that time, Jerry served in the Army during World War II on the front lines in France, Belgium, and Germany.
Before and after that service, he lived in North Warren for over 75 years, operating a feed mill in North Warren and working for National Forge for 31 years. He was part of the North Warren Volunteer Fire Department for many years.
He is one of the founders of the Toy Shoppe.
He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and is now a member of Pleasant Community Church.
He is the father of four — Emily, Carol, Pam, and Debbie.
The party starts at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Community Church.
