Meddock offered role in NYC musical

Sheffield graduate in Manhattan’s ‘The Imbible’

Devon Meddock

Devon Meddock, daughter of Marty Meddock and Kimberly Wren, has been offered the role of Soprano Cover by Broadway Theatre Studio for the musical comedy “The Imbible.”

The show plays at the New World Stages in the heart of Manhattan’s Theater District at 304 West 50th Street.

Devon has experience performing in New York City. She has performed at the Provincetown Theater and The Secret Theatre. She has also performed in many cabarets throughout the city. In addition to singing, Devon plays trumpet with the New York University Brass Ensemble. In her new role, she will continue to serve as Professor of Voice at New York University as well as maintain a private music studio.

Devon is a 2009 graduate of Sheffield Area Middle-Senior High School. She is also a graduate of Mercyhurst University with a B.A. in Music and minors in both English and Theatre. Devon then earned a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance with an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from New York University’s Steinhardt School.
