FSWC provides creative oulet for families
Who doesn’t love drawing on the sidewalk?
A Family Services of Warren County (FSWC) fundraiser scheduled for August 11 will give you an opportunity to do just that.
For a $10 donation, you can stake your claim to one square of prime Liberty Street sidewalk space. Chalk will be provided, or participants are welcome to bring their own, and there are no rules.
Pre-registration for the event is requested, and can be completed at www.fswc.org or by calling (814) 723-1330.
The registration tent opens at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, and the drawing begins at 9 a.m.
Judging will take place at 11:30 a.m.
There will be prizes for best artwork in multiple categories, according to FSWC Director Mike Philhower, and the event is open to all age groups.
Popcorn, drinks, and music will also be available.
