Allie Schutt, a graduate of Eisenhower High School, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Kent State University.
The Warren High School Class of 1952 is going to Perkins Restaurant for breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 17. All classmates, spouses and partners are invited.
A Summer Cruise In, at the parking lot at Eagles Club #313 in Warren, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 22, to benefit Mariah Allen — PA Miss Jr. Miss Queen — representing women with disabilities in Pennsylvania at the national pageant in August in Chicago.
All cars and motorcycles in the Cruise In must register and be in place by 12:30 p.m. Trophies are awarded in both car and morotcycle classes.
Admission is $5. Lunch is available, as is a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffles. All classic cars, hot rods, show cars and motorcycles are welcome.
Vacation Bible School

Get ready to gear up for a community Vacation Bible School program at First Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Market and Third, that will also include First UM Church, 1st Lutheran, St. John’s Lutheran, Grace UMC, Trinity, and Pleasant Community Churches (for children K-Grade 5).
There will be a separate Pre-School program for 4-year-olds.
The VBS program is filled with Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch and even taste. They’ll also play team-building games and learn cool Bible songs. So, grab your friends and come to First Presbyterian Church beginning Sunday, July 22, through Thursday, July 26, from 6 to 8:15 p.m.

Caregivers’ Support Group meeting
The monthly meeting of the Caregivers’ Support Group will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, July 16th.
This group of current and former caregivers is interested in supporting others by sharing personal experiences, resources, and helpful tips. Any persons who attend to the health care needs or well-being of another person, and others interested in information about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias are welcome. These meetings are open to the public and are held on the third Monday of each month.
The Support Group Library will be available for those interested in borrowing materials.
Information will be available about the upcoming events to support the Alzheimer’s Association, including the 2018 Warren Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease on September 29, and educational programs scheduled in the Warren Area.
Meetings are held at the Grace United Methodist Church, Wesley Parlor, 501 PA Ave. E., Warren.
Use the elevator entrance from the parking lot to the first floor. Bring a bag lunch and beverage, if desired.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease Committee meeting
The next planning meeting for the 2018 Warren Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease is scheduled for 1 p.m.Tuesday, July 17. It will be held at the meeting room of the LIFE–NW PA Office (located next to Darling’s Pharmacy in the former Quality Markets building), 1885 Market St., in North Warren. Lunch will be provided.
All team captains and prospective team members as well as individual walkers may sign up at this meeting. Fundraising tips will be offered. Sponsors, former committee members, volunteers, and any other interested persons are invited to attend.

The Warren High School class of 1956 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the Main Landing Restaurant — formerly Mainers Pier — in Celoron, N.Y.
