Class lunch

The Warren High School class of 1958 will meet for lunch at noon, Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Cable Hollow. Spouses and significant others are welcome. Those planning to attend are asked to contact Betty Hill at 723-4530 to make reservations.

The Joy of Coloring

The Joy of Coloring will be held between the hours of 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, in the Slater Room of Warren Public Library.

All materials will be provided, as will light refreshments.

The adult-coloring program is held on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Haunted House

& Trolley Tours

The Warren County Historical Society’s Haunted House & Trolley Tours will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 13 and 14, beginning at the Warren County Histocial Society, 210 Fourth Ave., Warren.

The haunted house is free and open to the public. Trolley tickets are $9 per trolley rider in advance or $10 at the door. Advanced purchase is recommended. For information, call 723-1795, or visit www.warrenhistory.org.

Bridge results

Bridge play winners at the Allegheny Community Center on Tuesday were Audrey Cable and Marjorie Polito, coming in first and second. Thursday afternoon at the Woman’s Club, Donna Holding was the winner followed by Margaret Morgan. Thursday evening at the Warren Library the winners were Donna Holding, first and Lynda McCollough, second.

Hospice donations

Hospice of Warren County, a non-profit affiliate of Warren General Hospital received contributions during the month of August, enhancing the care Hospice gives to patients, their families, and the community.

Teen Age Republicans

The next Teen Age Republicans meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, at the Republican headquarters, 145 Conewango Ave.

Join us to learn more about politics, discuss current events and meet other like-minded teens. Snacks and drinks provided.

All interested teens invited, ages 12 through 18.

Storage at fairgrounds

The Warren County Fairgrounds in Pittsfield will have winter storage available on a first-come, first-serve basis, starting Saturdays, October 14 and 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will be accepting campers, boats, cars, etc. They have limited availability to accommodate tall campers. The storage fee is $10 per foot for widths up to 102 inches. Widths over 102 inches will be $15 per foot. Storage release weekend will be April 7 and 8, 2018.

Delta Kappa Gamma

Delta Kappa Gamma members joined together for the start of the 2017-18 year at the Dave Clark Picnic Pavilion in North Warren.

Retired members treated the teachers, who had already started working in their classrooms, to a picnic.

The women discussed upcoming fundraiser events, the Grant-in-Aid Recipient Scholarship, and donations to various causes.

The new educators in the Warren County School District will receive gift cards to welcome them as they begin their school year.

Delta Kappa Gamma promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
