Tidioute crash victim identified

Police have released the name of the Tidioute woman who died in a fatal crash Sunday.

Rachel West, 36, of Tidioute, was originally identified by Pennsylvania State Police only as a 26-year-old female on Sunday. According to police, West, identified by police Monday morning as 36-years-old, was traveling north on Davey Hill Road in Pittsfield Township on Sunday, July 16, at approximately 3:27 p.m., when she lost control of her vehicle causing it to hit an embankment and roll multiple times before coming to final rest on its roof. According to police, West was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. She was transported to Warren General Hospital Sunday where she was pronounced dead from her injuries.
