Dec. 1-4: Crary Art Gallery, 511 Market St. Free admission always; Aging in America: Oil Portraits and Commentary by Janet Boltax and Everywhere and Nowhere: Landscape paintings by Nicole Ryan (The days and hours are same for these two new exhibitions), 12-6 p.m. Thursday, 12-8 p.m. Friday (Christmas Walk), 12-6 p.m. Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Sunday.

Dec. 2: Victorian Christmas Open House and Trolley Tours: Friday, Dec. 2, 6-8:30 p.m. Warren County Historical Society, 210 Fourth Ave., Warren. Live music, elaborate decor, refreshments. Trolley tours begin at 7:30 p.m. $5/rider. 723-1795.  www.warrenhistory.org

Dec. 2 through Christmas: 2016 Christmas Light Show begins at 215 Central Avenue, Warren, begins at 6 p.m. Friday. The Light Show will convert to a New Year’s program right after Christmas and through New Years Day.

Dec. 2-3, 10: Kid’s Town Books will be open on  Friday, December 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 436 Pennsylvania Avenue West in Warren. All proceeds will go towards Free Books for Kid’s Town. Kid’s Town Books will also be open on Saturday, December 3 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., including a visit from the Cat in the Hat at noon, and on Saturday, December 10 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.. Dec. 3: Warren Concert Association presents a holiday concert sponsored by Northwest Bank (formerly Northwest Savings Bank) with Ball in the House, a male a cappella quintet.  Box office opens at 6 p.m. and performance begins at 7:30 p.m. at Struthers Library Theatre.  Call 814.723.6505 or email warrenconcertassociation@gmail.com for more details.

Dec. 3: 30th Annual Holiday Craft Show at St. Joseph Catholic School. Over 75 vendors.  Lunch Available, Admission is $2/person. All proceeds benefit Accelerated Reader Program.

Dec. 3: Santa and Mrs. Claus, Noon-1:30 p.m., Warren Public Library’s Slater Room. Holiday stories, songs, crafts, snacks, visit with Santa. Preregistration mandatory, attendance limited. Leave message for Children’s Librarian Susan Slater at 723-4650 or stop by Children’s Department and sign registration form.

Dec. 7: After School with Mrs. Claus, 4:30 p.m., Warren Public Library Children’s Department. Mrs. Claus reads holiday stories, sings songs, shares holiday snacks and crafts. Preregistration appreciated. Leave message for Children’s Librarian Susan Slater at 723-4650 or stop by Children’s Department and sign registration form.

Dec. 11: Grace United Methodist Church Choir Concert – All on a Starry Night – 3:40 p.m., 501 Penna. Ave. E., Warren.

Dec. 15: Warren Garden Club will hold its Holiday Party noon at the Woman’s Club, 312 Market St. Note location change.

Dec. 15-16: ACC Christmas Bazaar, from 9am – 4pm . Soup and salad will be served from 11-2 for $5. Venders welcome to sign up at ACC; ask for Barb. $10 for 1 day, 2 days $15. Call 723-3763.

Dec. 30: Warren Public Library Slater Room, 4 PM to 6 PM. Public retirement reception in honor of Library Director, Patty Sherbondy. Refreshments provided. March 12, 2017: Warren Philharmonic Concert at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 4 p.m.

March 18, 2017: Warren Concert Association presents the Karkowska Sisters Duo, a musical partnership of sisters, violin, and piano.  Concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Market at Third, Warren.  Call 814.723.6505 or email warrenconcertassociation@gmail.com for more details.

April 22, 2017: Warren Concert Association presents the Hadar Noiberg Trio, an international ensemble of flute, double bass, and drums with American Jazz and Blues, Middle Eastern sounds, and African music.  An orchestra of sounds comes from on-stage recording and playback.  Call 814.723.6505 or email warrenconcertassociation@gmail.com for more details.
