Wonders calendar correction

The Warren County Wonders 2017 needed to have a page of dates fixed — June dates were found to be wrong. All calendars in place have had the page fixed. Calendars gave been fixed in places where people have gotten calendars and they have the replacement page available. For those calendars which have already been purchased, people can do several things: they can get the page where they bought the calendar and fix it themselves, they can ask for one on email alleghenycenterforthearts@gmail.com, they can go to ACA on Dec. 13 and 14 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., or they can go to WCCBI on Market St. during open hours. Check out www.alleghenycenterforthearts.com to see where calendars are being sold.

Sundance internship

Jimmy Elinski, of Wilcox, has been selected for an internship at the Sundance Film Festival — through the Creative Minds Group — from Jan. 18 to 25 in Park City, Utah.

Elinski completed an extensive application process, including an introduction video, essay questions, resume and letter of recommendation.

To help defray financial costs of this experience, Elinski will be offering prints of original artwork for a donation at the donor’s discretion. Donations will be accepted at 352 Elinski Rd., Wilcox, Pa., 15870.

In return, a print will be sent to the donor. In addition, a GoFundMe account has been created and can be accessed via the following link: https://www.gofundme.com/jimmys-internship-at-sundance.

The print depicts a scene from one of Elinski’s earlier films about Mother Nature.
