All types of exercises are offered and suggested for your mental and physical well-being. Just a few of them include: walking our temperature controlled hallway (10 laps=1/2 mile and includes railings the entire way), line dancing (in their new studio), bocce, Scrabble challenge, interesting crafts (painting, knitting, stamping). Enjoying any (or all) combinations tend to help keep you mentally alert and physically able. You can call ACC at 723-3237 for information regarding schedule times. Enjoy!

Hot lunches or light alternative cold lunches are served Mondays thru Fridays at noon. Lunch reservations must be made by 2:00 p.m. the day prior to reserve a lunch by calling 723-3237. Unexpectedly (late Wednesday), we got word that Experience, Inc. would be receiving operating funds from the state. As a result, all senior and community centers under their wing are returning to normal operating hours. That means that Allegheny Community Center will be open starting Monday, Jan. 4, Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. There is a return to an announced lunchtime menu which has not been available during our three-day week.
