Northwest Bank names Wade VP
Matthew S. Wade has been named vice president, mortgage and equity production manager of Northwest Bank. William Tarpenning, senior vice president, retail lending, made the announcement.
In his role, Mr. Wade will oversee the bank’s virtual mortgage, construction lending, and loan modification departments.
Wade began his career with Northwest in 2000 as a management trainee. He’s since held several positions throughout the bank, including branch manager, consumer lending manager, retail lending product and credit manager, mortgage banking quality control manager and deposit product manager. He most recently served as retail banking product manager, where he evaluated and made improvements to the bank’s loan programs.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia, Wade has his degree in business management. He’s also a graduate of the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association Advanced School of Banking and recently received his project management certification. In his spare time, Wade is a town councilman in the Town of Clymer, New York.
Wade is the son of Charles and Janice Wade of Clymer, N.Y., where he also resides with his wife, Sheila. They have two children, Daniella and Emma.
