NW promotes Chase to assistant VP, online banking manager
Carrie R. Chase has been promoted to assistant vice president, online and mobile banking manager of Northwest Bank.
In her position, Ms. Chase handles the daily operations within the bank’s online and mobile banking department. Notable projects include the rollout of a new online banking platform, which was completed in 2016, serving as project manager for various projects within online banking and continuous process improvements to the bank’s online banking system while keeping security top-of-mind. Ms. Chase is also a member of the bank’s Business Continuity Plan.
Ms. Chase began her career with Northwest in 2007 as a teller and customer service representative. Since then, she’s held various positions in online and mobile banking, including specialist, system administrator and assistant manager. In 2017, Ms. Chase became manager of Northwest’s Online and Mobile Banking department where she oversees the bank’s online and mobile channels.
Ms. Chase earned her certificate as a certified electronic banking officer. She graduated from the Pennsylvania Bankers School of Banking and will be starting the three-year Advanced School of Banking program this year. She also completed Northwest’s employee development program, iLead, in 2017, and Northwest’s Project Management Training in 2018. Ms. Chase is active in the Lander Volunteer Fire Department where she currently serves as treasurer.
Ms. Chase is the daughter of Janet and Robert Hutley Jr. of Lander. She lives in Russell with her husband, Jacob, and their daughter, Charlotte. They are expecting their second daughter in September.
