Steven Fisher chair of PA Bankers Services Corp.
Steven G. Fisher, senior executive vice president, chief revenue officer of Northwest Bank, was recently elected chair of the PA Bankers Services Corporation (Services Corp.).
The Services Corp. is a wholly-owned, for-profit subsidiary of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PA Bankers), the state’s leading banking trade association representing an expansive and diverse membership. It evaluates products and services of benefit to PA Bankers’ members for consideration in its Select Vendor program, in areas such as human resources, community reinvestment, operations, IT, and contract negotiation, among others. The Services Corp. oversees the Bank Health Care Consortium of PA, a Career Center and a multi-bank-owned title insurance program. It also coordinates participation and offerings through the Compliance Alliance.
In his new position, Fisher will lead the Services Corp. in determining its objectives and evaluating the products and services that best meet the needs of the association’s members.
Fisher was elected chair at the PA Bankers’ annual meeting on May 17. His term as chair begins on July 1, 2018. With his appointment, he is also allocated a non-voting seat on the PA Bankers Association Board of Directors.
Fisher joined Northwest in 1983. Today, he works to ensure responsible production and revenue growth through the oversite of the Trust, Northwest Advisors, Insurance, Marketing and Community Banking functions of the bank. His primary emphasis is to use a highly-effective sales process to enhance customer procurement and deepen customer relationships.
