Thanksgiving paper can be purchased early

When the Thanksgiving edition of the Times Observer is delivered Thursday morning, many people will already have the many Black Friday inserts.

“We will have our largest newspaper of the year on the streets early for anyone who wants to start their Black Friday shopping sooner,” Publisher Robert Patchen said. “The Times Observer will be offering its Thanksgiving paper that has Black Friday ads in it early this year at specific dealer locations.”

The Thursday paper will be available at the Times Observer office, 205 Pennsylvania Ave. W, by 4 p.m. Wednesday. The office will be open until at least 5 p.m.

The following locations will have copies no later than 4:30 p.m.:

Kwik Fill — Youngsville, Sugar Grove, Pittsfield, Warren Mall, Hickory Street, Glade Bridge, and 600 Pennsylvania Ave. E;

Country Fair — Pleasant Township, Youngsville, and Pennsylvania Ave. East;

Pit Stop — both locations in Sheffield;

Tops — Youngsville;

Sheetz — North Warren;

Shurfine — Warren.

For those looking to buy the paper early, it will cost more than the usual weekday edition.

“Because of the added value in the Thanksgiving product, we will be charging our Weekender price — $1.25,” Patchen said.

The Thursday edition will not include lottery numbers drawn Wednesday evening.
