Bosko named assistant VP

Chad M. Bosko, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) risk manager of Northwest Bank, has been named assistant vice president.

Vicki Stec, Bank Secrecy Act officer, made the announcement.

In his role, Bosko provides reporting support and data analysis to the BSA management group. He also performs risk assessments and works with all Northwest departments to maintain BSA-related policies and procedures and ensure appropriate risk management and reporting are in place. Bosko also works closely with compliance staff, auditors and examiners to ensure effective communication throughout various BSA reviews.

Bosko joined Northwest in 2010 as a management trainee. Prior to 2010, he served as an insurance agent at Bankers Life and Casualty Company in both Erie and Jamestown.

A graduate of Penn State Behrend, Bosko received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He’s also a graduate of Leadership Warren and the Pennsylvania bankers Association School of Banking, is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and a Certified Anti Money Laundering and Fraud Professional. In his spare time, he’s actively involved as a member of Kiwanis.

Bosko is the son of Phil and Judy Bosko of Youngsville. He lives in Sugar Grove with his wife, Amanda, and their three children, Kyler, 5, Kaylynn, 3 and Korah, 10 months.
