Correction

Registration for incoming Warren County School District kindergarten students will be held this week, Monday, Jan. 28, through Friday, Feb. 1. Incorrect dates for Youngsville and Eisenhower elementary schools were published on page D-5 of the Saturday, Jan. 19 Times Observer.

All children who will be five years of age on or before the first day of the 2019-2020 school year are eligible to enroll in kindergarten.

Registration will take place at the elementary school serving a student’s attendance area.

The registration schedule for the district is as follows (also published with pre-K and private kindergarten classes on pages A-5 and A-6 of today’s Times Observer:

Ø Warren Area Elementary Center — 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., noon to 2:30 p.m., and 4 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28; and 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29.

Ø Youngsville Elementary School — 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., noon to 2:30 p.m., and 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30.

Ø Eisenhower Elementary School — 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., noon to 2:30 p.m., and 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31.

Ø Sheffield Elementary School — 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., noon to 2:30 p.m., and 4 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1.

Due to a policy change, effective in the 2020-2021 school year, students must turn 5 on or before July 1 to be enrolled in kindergarten that year.
