April 28: Arbor Day, at Gen. Joseph Warren Park.

April 28: Classy Castoffs Sale: Saturday, 9AM-1PM, at the Wilder Museum, 51 Erie Ave., Irvine, PA 16329. Not your typical garage sale! All sale items are donated, and proceeds benefit the Warren County Historical Society. (814)723-1795. www.warrenhistory.org

April 28: Fall YMCA Soccer League registration begins and runs through June 30. Boys and girls ages 3-14.

May 12: Elk Township Historical Society (the former Scandia School) will hold its first Open House of the season, 1-4 p.m. Tour guides will be on hand to answer questions.

May 12: National Train Day celebration: Saturday, 10AM-5PM. Sheffield Depot Heritage Museum, 75 Center Street, Sheffield. A variety of artifacts and models will be on display. This event is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome. Hot dogs and drinks will be available for purchase. For more information, please call (814) 968-3016.

May 13: Bryan Eckenrode, musical director and conductor of the Warren Philharmonic, will lead the orchestra in a concert entitled “All About the Accordion” at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, Mother’s Day, at the Holy Redeemer Church.

May 15: Wilder Museum Opens for the Season: Tuesday, 1-5PM. 51 Erie Ave., Irvine, PA 16329. Hours of operation are Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday, 1-5PM. (814)723-1795 www.warrenhistory.org
