Cupid Shuffle

Being held Friday in downtown Warren

First Fridays of Warren will he hosting its second annual “Cupid Shuffle” Friday in downtown Warren.

The Shuffle will have a similar set-up to the Wine Walk that First Fridays and Seasons on the Avenue hosted this past November. There will be wines, chocolates, hors d’oeuvres, and shopping for participants.

To order a ticket, visit Seasons on the Avenue at 334 Pennsylvania Avenue West in Warren or Virg-Ann Flower Shop at 240 Pennsylvania Avenue West. You can also order tickets online by going to www.squareup.com and searching “Second Annual Cupid Shuffle”. Tickets are $20 each, and are limited.

Warren businesses participating in the event include: Seasons on the Avenue (will be providing wine slushies, various chocolate smoothies, and chocolate covered cheese provided by Stonehill Chocolates), Stonehill Chocolates (chocolate covered cheese), Total Evolution (red sangria and Dark Chocolate Hogs and Spuds, while hosting LuLaRoePennyandAmber), Warren PC Repair LLC (chocolate bites and wine), Crary Art Gallery (sweet treats and punch, as well as an art exhibition), The Arbor Coffee House Cafe and Tea Room (chocolates and chocolate peanut butter coffee, live entertainment), Virg-Ann Flower & Gift Shop (Dan Smiths and beverage tasting), Fields Country Furniture (serving wine and chocolates with a bow and arrow contest), Still House (hot chocolate with chocolate strawberry shine, Canadian bacon), Encore Consignment Boutique, Horton House Bed & Breakfast (wine and chocolate strawberries), Phase Two Clothing Reseller, (wine and chocolates), Crone’s Drug Store (chocolates and The Snuggler beverage), Allegheny Outfitters (wine, chocolates, other treats), Icyy Ink Screen Printing, Authors Books & Music (Allegheny Cellars Winery),  and the Warren Music Conservatory (open, hosting YMCA’s chocolate fondu, marshmallows, and gram crust).

The Warren County Visitors Bureau will be providing a grand prize at the end of the evening.

Stateline Speedway has provided two tickets to an event at the speedway, complete with a snack and beverage. Additionally, most businesses participating in the shuffle will be providing a door prize for the end of the evening’s drawings.

Businesses that are not involved, but wish to participate, are asked to contact First Fridays or Seasons on the Avenue. All proceeds from the event will support First Fridays of Warren.

“We have huge plans for events in the coming year, so this event will help support those events,” said Lisa Streich of First Fridays. “We want to make it more family- and kid-friendly downtown. Warren needs growth and to flourish. Hopefully, we can spark some of that this summer and continue it in the years to come.”
